PUTRAJAYA |
KAWASAN PRU13 JOHOR DARUL TAKZIM |
KAWASAN PERHATIAN:-
PARLIMEN:-
1. GELANG PATAH - LIM KIT SIANG [DAP] VS GHANI [BN]
CLASH OF THE TITANS |
Johor Barisan Nasional chairman Datuk Abdul Ghani Othman will lead the coalition's defense of the State by contesting the Gelang Patah parliament seat against DAP supremo Lim Kit Siang.
Ghani, 66 will face of Lim, 72 in a much anticipated contest which
analysts had predicted will determine the future of the country's race
relations. Gelang Patah is a constituency of 106,864 voters consisting 52.4 per
cent Chinese; 34.3 per cent Malays; 12.5 Indians and 0.8 per cent of
other races.
"We must persuade the people of Johor to reject the attempt by the opposition to disrupt the way we Johoreans are doing things. "We must defend our ways of sharing and cooperating between people of all races which has brought about progress and stability. "The people of Johor must tell these people who either come from Kelantan or Ipoh that we reject their politics of divisiveness," he said in reference to Lim, who previously is the member of parliament of Ipoh Timur and Pas vice-president Salahuddin Ayub, the former MP of Kubang Kerian who will also be contesting in Johor.
TAN SRI SHAHRIR SAMAD MENYATAKAN LIM KIT SIANG DATANG KE GELANG PATAH HANYA UNTUK "MEMBUNUH POLITIK MCA" DI JOHOR. INI MENUNJUKKAN KAUM CINA DI JOHOR BAWA "DAP" ADALAH UNTUK KAUM CINA DI MALAYSIA.
PROJEK 2050
2. PULAI - SALAHUDDIN AYUB [PAS] VS NUR JAZLAN MOHAMED [BN]
NUR JAZLAN MOHAMED [BN] |
Malaysians must choose a government that will ensure their future stability and provide an environment of economic certainty to safeguard the nation's continued economic growth and long-term prospects over risky political experiments.
In making the call for the people to place their trust in the
time-tested Barisan Nasional (BN) government, UDA Holdings Bhd chairman
Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said continuity was crucial to ensure
infrastructure development projects continue right until their fruition. "Without proper continuation (from policymakers), these projects would
be prone to delays, impede progress and ultimately lead to failure," he
told Bernama here today. Nur Jazlan, who will be defending his Pulai parliamentary seat in
Johor, said construction of infrastructure projects would require
consistency especially from a stable government. "In this sense, I would like to ask whether Malaysian voters want
continuity of the government's transformation programmes or a change to
an uncertain future," he said.
3. JOHOR BARU - TAN SRI HASHIM HUSSEIN [PKR] VS TAN SRI SHARIR SAMAD [BN]
PARLIMEN JOHOR BARU AKAN MEMPERLIHAT PERTEMBUNGAN DUA TAN SRI. SATU TAN SRI EX-ARMY YANG BARU MENCEBURI DIRI DALAM POLITIK. BERCERAMAH MENGHENTAM KERAJAAN DALAM PERSOALAN ASSETS KETENTERAAN DAN OPERASI DAULAT. SATU LAGI ADALAH TAN SRI YANG TELAH MEMBERIKAN SUMBANGAN DAN SENTIASA MENJAGA KEBAJIKAN RAKYAT DI JOHOR BARU.
SHAHRIR SAMAD [BN] |
JOHOR BAHRU - Naib Presiden Pas, Salahuddin Ayub dinasihatkan
wujudkan gambaran datang menyelamat," katanya.
TAN SRI HASHIM HUSSEIN [PKR] |
The Pakatan Rakyat (PR) anchor party said recently it had set its
sights on some 250,000 voters living in police barracks and military
camps nationwide, hoping to capitalise on the influence of former
military leaders who have joined its ranks. “In my opinion, PR is more sincere and honest,” Md Hashim, the
Malaysian Army’s 18th commander in chief, told a press conference at the
PKR headquarters here when asked about his joining. He was flanked by the party’s de facto leader and PR chief Datuk Seri
Anwar Ibrahim, who is also a close friend from their student day at
Malay College Kuala Kangsar (MCKK). Md Hashim added that among the major factors that had moved him to
join the opposition was the allegedly widespread corruption within the
army, an oft-repeated accusation made by other retired army generals now
members of opposition parties. “If you look at the infrastructures belonging to the army, they are
pathetic,” he said, adding that equipment supplied to the army was often
inferior, which he blamed on corruption.

Barisan Nasional (BN) ministers went on the offensive against Pakatan
Rakyat (PR) today at a “special meeting” in Johor with Chinese-language
school heads and teachers nationwide, reminding the 6,000-strong crowd
of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim’s failed education policies when the
opposition leader was in government 20 years ago.
The meeting at SJKC Foon Yew in Johor Baru, which featured BN
political heavyweights from Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin to MCA’s Datuk Wee
Ka Siong and Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai, was touted as an education
ministry event arranged long before Parliament was dissolved on April 3,
the Malaysiakini news portal reported.
“What
Anwar failed to do, Najib completed in 1996, which was a turning point
for Chinese education in Malaysia,” Health Minister Liow
was quoted telling the audience.
Speaking partly in Mandarin, he reportedly urged the educators
present to lend their full support to Datuk Seri Najib Razak so the
prime minister could carry out progressive and open education policies
for the Chinese community, who from about 30 per cent of the country’s
multiracial population.
Muhyiddin, who heads the education ministry, assured the group that
the BN government would preserve vernacular schools as part of the
national education system, state news agency Bernama reported.
“The BN government will preserve the SJKC and SJKT to ensure that the
children of the Chinese and Indian community in the country will be
able to learn their respective mother tongues and their cultures,” the
wire quoted the BN deputy chairman saying, using the initials for the
vernacular schools.
Muhyiddin also called on the Chinese community not to get influenced
by the opposition’s baseless allegation, especially during the polls,
that the Chinese-language schools would be sidelined by the government.
Rakyat mengambil alih Johor.
ujarnya ketika ditemui sebentar tadi.
Sementara seorang pengusaha roti, Ng Keng Guan, 40, berkata, meskipun
