'Give us your trust', PAS asks Penang Malays

GEORGE TOWN, Sept 30 — Pakatan Rakyat (PR) is confident that the state’s Malay voters will continue to favour the government in the next general elections despite constant attacks from Umno, state executive councillor Abdul Malik Kassim (picture) said. The Penang state religious affairs committee member said the grassroots Malays have been very receptive towards PR, together with Chinese and Indian voters whom he claimed were already convinced that they “have finally [seen] the light at the end of the tunnel”.
